Hoover Senior Center
In February of 2007, the City of Hoover opened it’s doors to the new Senior Center. The center is the perfect place to meet others, enjoy a good cup of coffee and participate in activities. The 8,000-square-foot building offers a creative arts room, two multipurpose rooms, a kitchen, a lounge, a large sunroom that overlooks the city and an auditorium that seats 250. Individuals over the age of 55 that reside in the City of Hoover can take part in a variety of fitness, social and recreational programs.

Membership

• Available to Hoover residents age 55 and older.
• Annual membership fee is $10 per person for Hoover Residents.  This membership provides access to the Senior Center and the Hoover Recreation Center Indoor Track.
• Some additional fees may apply for special activities

Meal Program
Hoover has teamed up with Jefferson County Office of Senior Services to provide a daily lunch for individuals 60 years and older who are Jefferson County residents. A donation is requested per meal. Meals are available on a first come, first served basis. See our staff for details!

• Take the Montgomery Hwy 31 Exit
• At Highway 31 travel north to the second traffic light.  Staples will be on the left.
• Turn right onto Municipal Drive
• Travel 1/4 mile and turn left onto Sierra Drive
• The Senior Center will be on the left

• Take the Montgomery Hwy 31 Exit
• At Highway 31 travel south approximately two miles to Municipal Drive. Staples will be on the right.

• Travel 1/4 mile and turn left onto Sierra Drive
