Hoover Recreation Center Gymnasium
The gymnasium is located on the second floor below the indoor track. Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision. Staff supervision of children is provided at designated times during the summer months and holidays. Inquire at the front desk for more details. Community lockers are available in the gymnasium for member/guest use. Locks are not provided in this area. Only non-marking soles are permitted on the gym floor. No dunking is allowed. Food and drinks are not allowed with the exception of closed water bottles. Courtesy and cooperation is required while using the gymnasium. Rules and guidelines are posted and must be adhered to by all members and guests. The gym is a multi-use facility and currently hosts recreational basketball and volleyball leagues and large aerobics classes. Special events are hosted in the gymnasium on a regular basis. Staff supervision is provided in the evenings and weekends during open gym time. Please consult the monthly gymnasium schedule at the front desk for updates to the schedule.
