The AVP Beach Volleyball Tour will not take place this year due to scheduling conflicts. Please check back in 2008. 
The AVP Beach Volleyball Tour made its first stop ever in Alabama for the AVP Hoover Open, July 13-16, 2006 at Regions Park Stadium. Olympic Gold Medalists Misty May-Treanor, Kerri Walsh, and Karch Kiraly competed in this event that will featured 32 men's teams and 32 women's teams.
