Invest in Hoover's Future The Hoover Parks and Recreation Foundation was formed in May 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to improve the availability and the quality of recreation facilities and opportunities in Hoover. Today parks are created to accommodate all forms of family recreation through public funds and are considered gifts from the people to themselves. In an effort to not overburden the local taxpayer, the Foundation works to solicit outside founding for future developments that will meet the City's future recreation facility needs. The Foundation Board is a non-profit organization with all donations being tax deductible. You have an opportunity to participate as an individual, business, corporation, club or organization. Contributions will be recognized either through a memorial or a special project. Foundation Pledge Cards and Foundation Gift Agreements will be available at the above phone number and address.
