Components of Health and Fitness Assessment If you sign up for 12 or more personal training sessions, a free fitness assessment will be performed before the first and after the last session. Fitness assessment is a great tool for determining your current fitness level. By identifying your strengths and weaknesses, a trainer can better determine what areas to focus on.
Health History Questionnaire- Basic medical history allows for identification of cardiovascular risk factors and other special needs. Vital Signs- Resting heart rate and blood pressure Cardiovascular endurance- A 3 minute step test will be performed in order to estimate cardiovascular endurance Body Composition- Body fat measurements utilize skin folds. Body fatness is a great determinant for a person’s risk of developing chronic diseases such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and coronary heart disease. Muscular Endurance
