Application Information

Applications requesting consideration by the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission are available at the City Clerk's office.  The Planning and Zoning Commission meets the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.   Items on the agenda for each meeting must be submitted in accordance with the following deadlines:

  • Rezoning applications, accompanied by required documentation, must be submitted 21 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
  • Conditional Use applications, accompanied by required documentation, must be submitted 21 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
  • Preliminary Map applications, accompanied by required documentation, must be submitted 21 calendar days prior to the meeting date.
  • Final Map applications, accompanied by required documentation, must be submitted 14 calendar days prior to the meeting date.

Deadlines are strictly enforced and failure to meet these submission dates will result in delay of your application being processed and heard.
