[Note: Click here for a list of roads within Hoover that are maintained by other agencies]. Requests for repairing or maintaining existing signs should be made to the Public Works Department at 205. 444.7796. Requests for new signs should be made to the city's Engineering Department at 205.444.7896. Please note that the city no longer installs or maintains "Children Playing" or other similar signs as these signs have been deleted from the manual of standardized signs adopted for use in the State of Alabama. Furthermore, the City of Hoover does not maintain "specialty" or "decorative" signs, except as noted within the city's Riverchase and Inverness annexation agreements.
