Howard Lake Howard Lake is located at 300 Municipal Lane on 8 acres of scenic woodlands adjacent to Highway 31 and I-459 From Highway 31 South toward Pelham, turn left onto Municipal Drive before the I-459 intersection. Follow Municipal Drive approximately ¼ of a mile and the Howard Lake House will be past the City Hall building on the right. From I-459 South toward Tuscaloosa, Take Exit 13 at Hwy 31. Turn right onto Hwy 31 and take the first right onto Municipal Drive. Follow Municipal Drive approximately ¼ of a mile and the Howard Lake House will be past the City Hall building on the right. This pristine park has a rentable gazebo, playground area, and walking track around the 3 acre Howard Lake (2 ½ laps = 1 mile). The Lakehouse can be reserved for civic and social events. Hoover Lake HouseRental InformationThe Howard Lake House is a beautiful A-framed rental facility located right on Howard Lake. It is conveniently located behind the City Hall complex and close to I-459 and Highway 31. This easy to find, picturesque building may be rented for birthdays, anniversaries, teas, showers and more. The Lake House is appointed with folding tables and chairs to seat 30-40 guests, as well as a large sectional sofa, registration/sign-in desk, kitchen facilities and more. The interior is fully decorated, so set up and clean up is easy. Being situated right on the water provides a beautiful view of the three-acre lake from the large decks that surround the lake side of the building. Other features include a lighted walking track, a gazebo and a playground. Please note that alcoholic beverages may not be served and smoking is not permitted inside the facilities.
