IT Operations Division

In support of the City’s day-to-day technology and telecommunication needs, the IT/Support Services Department manages and supports the following:

    • Over  450 Networked PC’s (including approx. 175 laptops/mobile data terminals

    • Design, Troubleshoot, Repair, Maintain Network Systems and Devices (24X365)

    • Fiber-Optic "Campus" Network, Wide Area Network, and Local Area Networks
    • Support E-Mail, Internet Access, File-Sharing, and Workgroup Applications
    • Firewall, Virus Protection, Spam Filtering, Network Monitoring
  • System Operations and Support
    • Computer Operations and Operating System Support (24X365)
    • System Security, VPN, Remote Access
    • Disaster Recovery, Data Back-up/Recovery, Hi-Availability, Business Continuity
