If you need to report a tree down across a state or county road or pot holes that need repairing, please call the Jefferson County Public Works Department, Shelby County Public Works Department or the State Highway Department of Transportation. Most of your main thoroughfares are either county or state maintained. Only residential streets are maintained by the City of Hoover.
