The City of Hoover provides to all homes within the city limits - free of charge - the following services:

• Curb side garbage & trash pickup
• Recyclable products pickup
• Curb side limbs & brush removal (call 444-7796 to schedule pickup)

Advanced Disposal Service is currently the City of Hoover's garbage collection service provider. Collection is also provided for leaf & pine straw during the fall & spring months. To view the schedule, click on the the Leaf Collection link.

The City hosts an annual Household Hazardous Waste Day each April to allow city residents to dispose of hazardous or environmentally sensitive material.

When the landfill is open on a Holiday, this schedule is subject to change.  Advanced Disposal will operate when the landfill is open for business even on a National Holiday - there may or may not be prior notice.   We will try and notify you as soon as possible, but that is not always the case.  We appreciate your understanding.
