The City of Hoover provides curb side garbage, trash, and recyclable products pickup service to all homes within the city limits at no charge. Advanced Disposal Service is currently the City of Hoover's garbage collection service provider. Collection is also provided for leaf & pine straw during the fall & spring months. For disposal of hazardous or environmentally sensitive material, the City hosts an annual Hazardous Waste Day each April.

When the landfill is open on a  Holiday.. this schedule is subject to change.  Advanced Disposal will operate when the landfill is open for business even on a National Holiday and there may or may not be prior notice.   We will try and notify you as soon as possible, but that is not always the case.  We appreciate your understanding.
