City of Hoover officials have announced the following actions related to the Winter Storm of Jan. 9th & 10th, 2011:

  The Hoover Public Library shall be closed on Sunday, Jan. 9th
The Hoover Recreation Center shall close at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 9th

All non-emergency city facilities, including the Municipal Center, Library, and Recreation Center shall remain closed until at least noon on Monday, Jan. 10th. Adjustments may be made to the plans to re-open on Monday - please check this webpage frequently for additional updates.
