Amendment 1 to 2008 Action Plan
A Public Hearing was held at Hoover City Hall on February 24, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. to consider a proposed Amendment to the City of Hoover CDBG 2008 Action Plans providing for a reallocation of available funds to current or new projects. Citizens were invited to voice any comments and recommendations. As a result of the citizen participation at the hearing, and accordance with 24 CFR 91.105(b)(2), the City of Hoover, Alabama, is hereby publishing for review and comment the amount and recommended distribution of those available funds:

The proposed Amendment is available for public review and comment for a period of at least 30 days, commencing today, May 27, 2009. Copies are available at Hoover City Hall, Hoover Public Library, and on the City's website at www.hooveral.org. Comments may be submitted in writing and mailed to the City of Hoover, Mayor’s Office, Attention Jan Pearson, 100 Municipal Lane, Hoover, AL 35216. You may also call Ms. Pearson at (205) 739-6859 or email her at pearsonj@ci.hoover.al.us. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on June 26, 2009. Barring any unforeseen changes, the City anticipates submitting this Amendment to the local HUD Office by July 1, 2009.
