NOTICE OF SCHEDULE CHANGE TO

HOOVER CITY COUNCIL EDUCATION COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING

            The Hoover City Council Education Committee Special Meeting previously scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2009, immediately following the 5:00 p.m. Council Work Session, has been changed to Monday, April 20, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. (prior to the 6:00 p.m. regular City Council meeting).

            The purpose of this meeting is to conduct second interviews with the top three candidates for the April 20, 2009 appointment to the Hoover Board of Education.  The top three candidates are listed in alphabetical order by last name, as follows:

                        Ronald A. Braswell, MD

                        Paulette R. Pearson

                        D. Wayne Rogers, Jr.

Interviews will be conducted by the Hoover City Council on Monday, April 20, 2009, beginning at 5:00 p.m.  The candidates will be interviewed in alphabetical order by last name.  The interviews will be held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers, 100 Municipal Lane, Hoover, Alabama.
