Hoover bids a very fond farewell today to beloved Fire Chief Thomas E. Bradley as he joins the ranks of the retired. As tradition, Chief Bradley was honored with a final alarm that signifies a firefighters end-of-watch. Listen to the recording here.

A reception honoring Chief Bradley will be held Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Thomas E. Bradley Fire Station (Station Four) located on Municipal Drive. Parking will be at the Hoover Recreation Center with shuttle service provided.
