Reallocation of Funds
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
Plan Years 2004, 2006, 2007
The City of Hoover is currently considering and preparing a proposed Amendment to its CDBG Annual Action Plans for PY 2004, 2006 and 2007 for the purpose of reallocation of funds. Examples of previous projects funded by the CDBG program include: the Lorna Road Sidewalk Project, the Hoover Schools Summer Program, and the Rocky Ridge Road Sidewalk Project. The proposed Amendment will reallocate funds as follows:

The reallocation of $64,837.30 to the Shades Mountain Park and Playground activity is expected to cover the higher than anticipated cost necessary for completion of this project.
The City of Hoover requests comments from its citizens regarding the proposed reallocation of funds, as well as future needs of the community, and projects that should be considered as part of CDBG planning during this or subsequent plan years. A Public Hearing will be held at Hoover City Hall in the 3rd Floor Conference Room located at 100 Municipal Lane on April 15, 2008, at 5:30 p.m.
The hearing is expected to last approximately one hour.
