CITY OF HOOVER EDUCATION COMMITTEE

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS

            The City of Hoover Education Committee will hold the following meetings with regard to the Hoover City Council April appointment to the Hoover Board of Education:

1.      The City of Hoover Education Committee will hold interviews with the eight applicants for the Hoover Board of Education on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, beginning at 4:00 p.m.  These interviews will be conducted every fifteen to twenty minutes until all eight applicants have been interviewed. 

This meeting will be held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers in the Hoover Municipal Center, 100 Municipal Dr., Hoover, AL.  The meeting will adjourn at the conclusion of the interviews.

2.      The City of Hoover Education Committee will hold a meeting at the conclusion of the Hoover City Council regularly scheduled work session to be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008, whereby they will discuss and vote to determine who will be recommended to the City Council for appointment to the Board of Education.  The City Council will vote on this appointment at their regular meeting to be held on Monday, April 7, 2008.

This meeting will also be held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers in the Hoover Municipal Center, 100 Municipal Dr., Hoover, AL. 

These meetings are open to the public.
