The Subdivision Process in Hoover

The first step in the development of a subdivision in Hoover is to determine the zoning of the property in question. This may be accomplished by calling the City Clerk's Office at (205) 444-7557. Any zoning variances or changes in zoning must go through the Planning & Zoning Committee. In addition, subdivision plans must be submitted to the City Engineering Dept. and approved by the Planning & Zoning Committee.
