The City of Hoover Parks and Recreation Department encompasses 27 parks and facilities and offers a wide variety of programs to all ages and abilities. From hikers to volleyball players to picnickers and even the family dog, Hoover's parks serve our diverse citizens and neighborhoods with a variety of attractions and events. The parks are also highly valued by citizens for their accessibility and environmental sustainability. 

Hoover Parks & Recreation Department will make reasonable accomodations in recreation programs and facilities to enable participation for individuals with disabilties. If you need special accomodations, such as physical assistance, please indicate your needs by notifying Recreation Center Staff at (205) 444-7765 at least two weeks prior to the begining of the program or event.
