The Hoover Personnel Advisory Board meets on an "as needed" basis. These meetings are held in the Hoover Council Conference Room located on the third floor of the Hoover Municipal Building. All members of the Board are appointed by the City Council for a term of three years. One member appointment comes as a recommendation from the Mayor, one from the Employees Advisory Committee and one from the City Council.
