Parks and Recreation Board

The Hoover Parks and Recreation Board was organized to promote public interest and participation in sports, athletics, and recreational activities and to provide, improve, and operate public parks, athletic fields, recreation areas, and other public facilities. Members are appointed by the City Council for a term of six years. The Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Board Room at the Hoover Parks and Recreation Center at 5:30 p.m.
