The Hoover Beautification Board is a volunteer organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Hoover. The board creates programs that involve our citizens, schools, businesses, civic leaders and local government in actions that prevent litter and beautify the community. The mission of the board is to empower citizens to take greater responsibility for their environment.

Please help the Hoover Beautification Board and the City of Hoover keep Hoover a beautiful place to live, work, and play. Our reward is a cleaner, more attractive environment and community.

Knowing more about litter is the first step to a cleaner community. When was the last time you saw someone litter? Maybe you don't remember, but litter doesn't just appear - it's the result of careless attitudes and inappropriate waste handling. Is there anything you can do?
