Bama Men's/Adult Baseball Tournament - May 2nd - 4th, 2008.
Widely recognized as one of the finest regional Men's Senior/Adult Baseball League, Inc. (MSBL/MABL) competitive amateur and semi professional level tournaments (as featured in Hardball Magazine) the Hoover/Birmingham once again looks to host it's 3rd (annual) Bama Bash. Last year we welcomed 28 teams, representing 7 states (with some coming as far away as Houston Texas and Chicago, Illinois) that competed in 50+ games played at area ball fields including: Hoover High School, Spain Park High School, Spain Park Athletic Complex, Shades Mountain Ball Park, Birmingham Southern College and historic Rickwood Field. In conjunction with the Bama Bash we also will once again look to host the Magic City Baseball Charity Bash Presented by Jim-N-Nick’s Area Restaurants. Last year's charity auction and Bar-B-Q food fest raised nearly $3,000 for the Alabama chapter of the American Heart Association, the Friends of Rickwood and Shades Mountain Ball Park.
