Xpress Cardio Description

What is Xpress Cardio?

Xpress Cardio was derived from a program called Fit-Quik developed by Sci-Fit, the company whose cardiovascular equipment we currently have in our Cardio Room as well as in our Xpress Cardio area.

Xpress Cardio (Fit-Quik) is a circuit training exercise protocol that incorporates the
time-tested methods of exercise: cross training and interval training.  These protocols include strength and cardio exercises for total body, upper body and lower body.  The length of each circuit segment is the same throughout the workout, i.e. 5 minutes on 6 machines is 30 minutes.  Any number of machines or type of machines can make
up a circuit.  The uniformity of time on each machine provides a smooth transition from machine to machine in the circuit.  It allows individuals to start in the circuit at short time intervals and smoothes the progress of group flow.

Why Xpress Cardio (Fit-Quik) works:

SCIFIT designs equipment that specifically meets the physical and psychological needs of the individual.  The equipment used in the Xpress Cardio (Fit-Quik) circuit is easy to use and something that anyone can do the first time…Walk – Pedal – Push – Pull

Bi-Directional - Bi-Directional Resistance is a feature that lets the individual change directions every 30 seconds during cardio programs.  This allows for overcoming muscle fatigue by changing muscle groups (push-pull) for lower body, upper body and/or all body.

ISO Strength - The exclusive ISO Strength mode provides for a simple method of strength training in intervals of 15 seconds.  The user changes directions every 30 seconds with intervals of 15-second max effort followed by 15-seconds of rest.
