Hoover has become a destination city with thousands of visitors each year. With such a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities available, it’s easy to see why. Its central location in the state offers convenience that’s hard to beat. Browse through our Events or Attractions section for things to see and do during your visit with us. Hoover has several area hotels located along the major Interstates and Highways. Most notable and largest are Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa and The Wynfrey Hotel at Riverchase Galleria. Both of these upscale facilities feature first-class meeting spaces and top-rate service. Our newest hotels, built along the Highway 150 corridor, include Embassy Suites and the Hyatt. The Hoover Chamber of Commerce website is another good source of information for visitors.Climate Precipitation averages about 4" per month for most months. March brings the most amount of rain with an average rainfall of about 6". Winter months can be wet, but don't expect any snow - our average annual snowfall is 1.9".
