Regular meetings of the Hoover City Council are held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Drive in Hoover. City Council meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. In preparation for these meetings, Council Work Sessions are also held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the Council meeting. Planning & Zoning
The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Drive in Hoover. The Board holds a work session on the Thursday prior to the second Monday at 5 p.m. in the Hoover City Council Conference Room on the third floor of the Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive in Hoover. The Hoover Board of Zoning Adjustments meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Drive. Work Sessions for the Board of Zoning Adjustment are held on the 4th Monday of each month at 5:30 PM in the Council Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Hoover Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive and are open to the public. The Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Library Board Room at 6:00 p.m. Park Board
The Park Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Board Room at the Hoover Parks and Recreation Center at 5:30 p.m. School Board
