NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING  

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD 

OF THE CITY OF HOOVER 

The Industrial Development Board of the City of Hoover (“IDB”) will hold a special meeting on Monday, August 31, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. in the Conference Room located on the second floor of Hoover City Hall, 100 Municipal Lane, Hoover, Alabama.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider a resolution declaring the official intent of the IDB to reimburse the United States Steel Corporation, or a subsidiary thereof, for certain capital expenditures relating to the purchase of equipment and construction of an electric arc furnace and other facilities at the Fairfield Works Mill located at 5700 Valley Road in unincorporated Jefferson County near Hoover, Alabama from the proceeds of the bonds expected to be issued by the IDB.
