Notice of Special Meeting of the Hoover
City Council

The Hoover City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers, Hoover City Hall,Third Floor, 100 Municipal Lane, Hoover, Alabama, 35216 for the second readings and consideration of adoption of the following ordinances which had their first readings at the June 18, 2018 or July 2, 2018 regular meetings:

Ordinance No. 18-2387 – Amend Municipal Code, Chapter 14, Article II, to modify the sales and use tax levied.  

Ordinance No. 18-2389 – Amend Municipal Code to modify the tangible personal property tax levied.  

Ordinance
No. 18-2390 – Amend Municipal Codeto modify the tax levied for renting or leasing of real estate.  

Ordinance No. 18-2394 – Amend Municipal Code,
Chapter 14, Article IV, to modify the hotel/motel tax levied to add a $2.00 per night room fee in lieu of a lodging tax rate increase.  

TO BE WITHDRAWN: 

Ordinance No. 18-2388 – Amend Municipal Code, Chapter 14, Article IV, to modify the hotel/motel tax levied to increase thecity’s lodging tax from 3% to 6%.
