Greg has 28 years of economic development experience at the state and local levels. He has worked on a variety of successful economic development initiatives and projects across numerous industry sectors, including information technology, life sciences, automotive, aerospace, metals and retail.

Jackson Pruett
Economic Development Coordinator

Jackson has over six years of increasing local economic development responsibility at the local level. His focus areas include entrepreneurship, business retention and expansion, and workforce/talent attraction.  

Corey Furr

Economic Development Specialist

Corey is beginning his career in economic development after recently graduating from Birmingham Southern College. Corey also spent eight years in the Marine Corps. He supports the Office's work in recruitment, business retention and expansion, and research.  

Taylor Durham
Business Services Specialist

Taylor is responsible for guiding new and expanding businesses through key City business transactions. As a former small business owner and later as a local government employee, she has a strong perspective on helping businesses have an easy-to-understand and seamless process.

The team of professionals at the City of Hoover provide the necessary services for business owners, commercial agents and site selectors in partnership with regional and state economic development allies and affiliated agencies.
