2022 Recreational Teams Only Youth Flag Football Tournament


The City of Hoover is proud to host the 5th Annual 2021 Recreational Youth Flag Football Teams Only Tournament. Join us Saturday, November 12th at the Spain Park Sports Complex. This is a one day tournament. This tournament is for true recreational flag football teams only.  All teams should be drafted and not pre-selected.

The 2021 Hoover Recreation Youth Flag Football Tournament is presented by Dicks' Sporting Goods is an open tournament for any recreational who would like to compete. If your team has what it takes, join us for an event like no other.

Tournament Details


When: November 12th, 2022
(**New Update**) Where: The Spain Park Sports Complex 4700 Valleydale Rd, Birmingham, AL 35242
Style: 5 on 5 
Format: *4 game guarantee. *This is a one day tournament. Teams will compete in a 3 game round robin(Saturday Morning) followed up with a single elimination playoff tournament (Saturday Afternoon). Round robin play will determine bracket seeding. Round Robin Games are 10 minute halves. The single elimination games are 20 minute halves. 
Divisions: Are determined by Grades and Ages. Tournament for each Grade  2nd(7u), 3rd(8u), 4th(9u), 5th(10u), 6th(11u)

 Birth Certificates and Report Cards are required. 
Entry: $50.00 per team
Officials Fee: $15 per round robin game/$25 per single elimination game due at gametime
Gate Fee: is Zero.  Invite your friends and family
Deadline: To register for this event is Thursday, November 3rd, 2022 or when full.

Ruling: Each player is only allowed to play on one team for the tournament. Girls are allowed to play in one grade division below their current grade level.
