City Council

Regular meetings of the Hoover City Council are held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Lane in Hoover. City Council meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month. In preparation for these meetings, Council Work Sessions are also held in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the Council meeting.

Planning & Zoning

The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Lane in Hoover. The Board holds a work session on the Thursday prior to the second Monday at 5:00 p.m. in the Hoover City Council Conference Room on the third floor of the Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Lane in Hoover.

Board of Zoning & Adjustments

The Hoover Board of Zoning Adjustments meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Lane.  Work Sessions for the Board of Zoning Adjustment are held on the 4th Thursday prior to the actual meeting on Monday at 5:30 pm in the William J. Billingsley Council Chambers and are open to the public.

Library Board

The Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Library Board Room at 5:00 p.m.

Park Board

The Park Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Board Room at the Hoover Parks and Recreation Center at 5:30 p.m.

Industrial Development

The Industrial Development Board meets on an as needed basis.

Beautification Board

The Beautification Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoover City Hall, 100 Municipal Lane.
