The City of Hoover applies/paints and maintains all pavement markings on city streets. Recently the City has developed a systematic approaching, using GIS software, to visit each City street and apply/reapply pavement markings where needed. Since this is a new process, it is unknown how long one complete cycle through all the City streets will take. However, through the process of assigning all the City streets into one (1) of twelve (12) individual sections, it is anticipated that no street will get overlooked.
